Tile Mirrors
Each mirror has a custom wooden frame, with hand-made tiles embedded for decoration. I use American cherry in a variety of finishes, and Brazilian cherry always with a natural finish. I router each mirror head to the exact shape and depth of Mary's tiles, then the tiles are set permanently and grouted. The mirror glass is a full quarter inch thick, and I use stranded steel wire for hanging. These are very solid pieces and need to be hung on a hefty screw or nail set into a wall stud.
